Ms. Joseph’s early legal endeavors began as an Assistant Public Defender with the Maryland Office of the Public Defender in Baltimore City, Maryland. Serving in this capacity, she garnered invaluable experience defending clients at trial, facing charges ranging from murder and drug distribution to aggravated assault, rape, robbery, and other grave criminal offenses. As an Assistant Public Defender in Baltimore City, Ms. Joseph gained valuable experience in defending clients at trial charged with a large variety of criminal offenses, such as murder, drug distribution, aggravated assault, rape, robbery and other serious criminal offenses. In addition, Ms. Joseph has extensive experience litigating Immigration and Family Law cases.

Mr. Zephirin is the office manager and community liaison for our firm. He graduated with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from American Intercontinental University. He has successfully managed multiple firms bringing over 30 years of experience to our firm. He is highly regarded and respected within the Delray Beach community for his contributions to the city.
In his free time Pedro enjoys spending time with his family, socializing, and traveling.

Rich is a Personal Injury Legal Assistant. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice and a Minor in African American History. Rich plans to obtain his Juris Doctorate Degree to fulfill his lifelong dream of becoming an attorney.

Shaunna Scott

Shaunna F. Scott earned her B.S. in Psychology and Sociology, with a concentration in Criminology, Law, and Society, from William & Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia, in 2023. She is currently pursuing a Master’s in Social Work at the University of Maryland, Baltimore, with plans to obtain a dual degree, including a Juris Doctorate.
During her time at William & Mary, Shaunna served as the class of 2023’s senator for three years, where she enacted legislation to advocate for the student body’s interests. She also worked with a Staff Attorney at the Virginia Poverty Law Center, a nonprofit organization dedicated to breaking down systemic barriers that keep low-income Virginians in poverty.
At the Law Offices of Chantal M. Joseph, LLC, Shaunna is the lead immigration assistant, handling applications for United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and preparing pleadings for the Executive Office of Immigration Review.
Additionally, Shaunna serves as a social media analyst for the Let Freedom Ring Foundation, an organization dedicated to preserving the history of the First Baptist Church of 1776, one of the oldest African-American churches in the nation. She manages the marketing and publishing for all their social media platforms.
Tilar Roberts

Tilar, a native of Prince George’s County, Maryland, serves as the firm's litigation assistant. She earned her B.A. in English Literature from Bowie State University. After graduating, she began her career as a behavioral therapist, working closely with autistic children. This experience provided her with invaluable skills that made her transition to the legal profession seamless. Tilar has a proven track record of managing multiple tasks while maintaining an organized workspace, close attention to detail, and clear, effective communication. Additionally, she is a Maryland Notary Public.
In her free time, Tilar enjoys reading, playing video games, and swimming.
